Okay, there are SO many of you I haven't actually met yet so I don't know if you have a comment to leave but for those of you who HAVE met me and knew me when I was weird (Okay I still am...)leave a comment with a memory we share! I'm sure there's something more to this meme but that's the gist and all that really matters right? So come on all you people, come out of hiding and leave me a memory!

I can't remember a whole bunch from when I lived close to you, but I do remember that you were so nice. You made me feel special and you were such a nice Laurel who actually paid attention to the beehives :) I remember visiting you in Utah the summer you were pregnant with your first baby. It was fun getting to see you there and married. Where did you live then? I bet I've heard of it! Thanks for being such a nice person and for reaching out to me when I was a beehive.
hi lena beana ~
i love how it feels like we have known each other way longer that just one year.
i really liked that memory that very first time you called me. it didn't feel weird at all to finally talk with you on the phone. it felt totally natural like we were just continuing our ongoing conversation from earlier that day. i love it how you always make me feel comfortable and welcome in your presence.
you are one of the kindest people i know. and i am glad to call you my friend. and you know what is kinda wild (i liked this in your email today, too) ... i think i know you and a couple others sooo much better than some of my alaska people who i don't even begin to scratch the surface with. and i don't want to scratch everybody frankly. not time or interest for that.
thanks for making me feel like a part of your family.
love you my friend, my sister
"aunt beany bear" :)
Lena, I am loving getting to know you--you're kind, you're loving, you're in love, you're a great mom, and you're spunky! I love that. I'm enjoying getting to know you better through blogs and emails and I love finding quirky things we have in common!! Thanks, Lena! :)
HAHA Lena! I'll throw in one of 'our' weird moments together!
Remember when we met? Sarah and Nicole were in the same pre-k class. You and I often were up there volunteering. We wound up being the ones that mainly taught the kiddies their graduation dance - the MacChicken.. (for those of you who don't know , the MacChicken is a version of the Chicken dance with a little Macarena thrown in:)).
That would NOT have been bad, had the teacher not decided to have you and I get up and dance it with the children in front of ALL their parents and MINE, since they were there to see their grandbaby graduate from pre -k.
Remember that?
If you don't - I have pictures!
Jen- I forgot about you coming to visit me! Pregnancy brain! My apartment didn't have a name but I think it was off 400 W or something like that. Gosh, I can't remember that address!
Beany- lol, I don't want to scratch a few either! Maybe I'll get that Alaskan cruise one day and we can meet. Good memory ;)
Stacy- awww- thanks! Now you know all the good stuff, lol. That's all I want to hear anyway ;)
Marcy- wow I made a spectacle of myself quite often in that little class, lol. I don't remember the exact steps of the dance but I remember doing it. I would love to see pictures. That's how much shame I have- not much!
hi lena beana ~ hehehe at your comment. scratch scratch :)
**smiles with ya**
great day girlie, beany :)
PS. and yes, my back is unfortunately still thrown out. owie owie owie. so gentle careful hugs only.
Ok, I have to mention how sweet you were in kindergarten to give me a tissue when I was crying my eyes out. I have such great memories of you as my best friend way back then. I am so glad we got in touch again! I bet we could still cream everyone at the 3 legged race!
LOL! Fun one :) We go way back don't we! Prodigy (LOL!), EFY's, Brian :P, Hard Rock Cafe, my wedding, your wedding, Denny's... :) Love ya!
I don't know if this counts as a memory but I always thought it was so cool we both had Hawaiian names and both our dads were named Wayne :-) And it was nifty that your backyard opened up to the school playground!!
Hi Lena,
Sorry I took a while to leave my memory. I just remember how sweet you were when we moved to Texas, and how I felt you were the older sister I had always wanted. I loved talking to you, and I loved how you would take Laura and I to the mall. I thought you were sooo cool! And of course you still are. :)
Hey there Lena! I have something for you on my blog! Hop on over and get it!
hmmmm...where to start!?? i remember when you flooded dad's garden and you promised me you would take me to a stake dance with you if i helped you bail the water out with cups and prop the corn back up. good times!!
Did you ever take laura to a stake dance. I can't remember. I do remember going with you. We would try and go every Friday night. Each stake had a dance one a month. Each stake was a different Friday. Arlington Stake was the second Friday. Then there was Forth Worth Stake, and Richfeild Stake, right.
Do you remember the guys John, David Payne, and ??? little video dude? I would love to get a copy of some of those videos of us. Would that be funny?
I remember driving to a Dallas Stake dance and getting lost in a bad bad area. Everyone was freaking out. I also remember going with a really big group. So big that I drove and someone else. Maybe it was Carrie. Anyway we were passing a bottle while driving down the street. We called it Pass the Bottle.
Once we got to the dances we never hung out with Lena. She was dancing every single dance. I loved to hold up the walls. They always needed a little Crystalyn support so that is were you would find me. Until the fast songs at least. Then we were all out there having a blast. I true blast. I loved going to the Stake dances.
I remember going to seminary every morning with ya. Not so fun, but good for me. Ironic now that I am married to a seminary teacher. I give him way to much advise.
The sleepovers with you were the biggest memory. We would have so much fun. One time I brought home 60 flavors of ice cream and invited everyone over to eat and try them.
Do you remember that date we set up in your mom's book store. I love tell that story. I remember the whole thing in detail. Oh I miss you girl.
I think I will do a tribute to fun time with friends in Texas. O' To Texas Friends. Check out my blog to see pictures.
You started it. And you're in most the pictures.
p.s. Courtney and Andrea just sent me a friend link to there Facebook pages. You would love checking it out.
