Okay, not quite heaven. HEAVEN was when my mom owned a bookstore and I pretty much ran it (I was in high school). When I would make the book orders I could stick in whatever books I wanted! Heaven.
This is good too though. I was turned on to a site called paperbackswap. It's a lovely site where you can swap books and just pay postage when you send a book to someone else. When you sign up and list 10 books that you are okay living without you are given 2 credits. With those two credits you can request 2 books from other people's bookshelves on the site. I listed my 10 this morning and have already requested Poisonwood Bible (thanks for the recommendation Mommax5!) I am waiting to see if there's anything Peter would like for my other credit before I indulge again. I already have people requesting 3 of my books and I will get even more credits when I send those out! So go sign up and put those books that you like but can probably find any time at the library or you will probably never read again up for grabs and find something else to stimulate your brain! Woo hoo! You can put my email address as a referral if you want. I'm not sure what that does but it can't hurt right? This is the one I used: morganhome1 at gmail dot com. Happy reading!

beany :)
Awwww, you must be sending lots of sweet emails out--how nice are you! Thanks for mine this morning, too! :) Like I said in my email to you, I think it's SO NEAT that your mom had a bookstore while you were growing up. I think that's terribly romantic!! Have you read "The Thirteenth Tale?" The narrator is a girl who grows up in a bookstore. It's fabulous! Our book club's favorite book this past year! Thanks, Lena!

Oh wow! what a site! I will surely go check that one out. You remember how much I LOVE to read don't you?
