We had a great Father's Day here yesterday! At church Peter was given a bag of microwave popcorn for being the best "Pop" as well as 4 bags of M&M's because that's what the primary kids gave their dad. Too bad he's not an M&M fan but good thing the kids and I are! ;) I bought a bunch of different candy's and had the kids make up sentences using each one and we put it all on a poster. It was pretty cute. My favorite sentence was "Your breath smells like Junior Mints!" Haha! I made a framed artwork with each child's footprint that Peter loves and took to work this morning. We love the daddy of our home so much!!
I subbed in Primary behind the piano yesterday. It was fun to be in there again- and I know it's only temporary! Two people were shocked when they asked the ages of my kids and I listed them all. The first lady who asked me said she thought I was younger but I have to be older than she thought if I have 5 kids, lol. The second was a woman who is younger than me- early 20's I'd guess. When she asked how many kids I had and I said 5 she almost choked and then asked how old I was. 30, yes, 30. She said she thought I was "maybe 25." Cool!! I don't mind looking young- not at all! As long as they don't treat me like I don't know anything, lol. I haven't gotten that in a while though and usually only from medical professionals.
I finally gave Joseph his first hair cut. I didn't cut much but it was getting SO long that I had to at least trim it.
He looks much different without his curls in the back and his hair all in his face but I'm sure he likes it better. Here he is enjoying a little box with his favorite toy- a book!
The big kids are always wanting me to take pictures of them holding Joseph. He loves to cuddle up with a stuffed animal and his biggest sister.
If it's a dinner he likes he literally licks his bowl clean! Now we just need a dog for the floor...

Very cute poster! What a creative idea!
i love the footprints frame. i will probably have to "borrow" that for next year. :)
Ohhh I really got touched by the foot prints saying and then you added their foots prints. That makes it so close to home. Thanks for commenting on my blog that I make a good mom. That is the best complement I could get.
Doesn't hair cuts always make them look a year older.
Cute poster, I'm sure Peter showed it off with pride!
Josephs haircut looks great, he is getting so big!
The pic of him and Sarah is adorable.
Hope all of you are doing great Lena!
Have a great day!
You're right--since we got the dog, there is no food on the floor. Dirt and dog hair, there is plenty! But no food! We call the dog when we drop something :-)
hee, cute :) Love that you guys had a great Father's day, and the poster is really cute! Darling haircut!
