So far I really like it! I've mailed out 5 or 6 books already and have ordered 3. I still have more credits to use up but I'm trying to be choosey. It costs maybe $3 (course I've been mailing hard backs- it's cheaper with paperback) to mail them and I don't want to just get some popular book I can pick up at the library or a used bookstore so I've tried to only order books I can't get at the library or that I already know I want to keep. It's really fun looking for books that I want though. I have to remember to save some credits for Peter to use because there are so many books that look great!

I love the post, Lena. I think I would have done the same thing, If I hadn't read it all in one whack. Now I get to re-read at a more leisurely pace.

I think the girls have just about convinced me to start the "Edward" feeding frenzy, LOL.

Am copying my response to your comment on my own blog:

"I'm pretty sure we're talking two different places. The one that's commemorated on the mural at the train station is a French socialist colony that existed for a few years in what we now call Oak Cliff. You've made me curious about the other La Reunion. Google, here I come!"

Thanks for opening up my world! And thanks for de-lurking!

Lena! That's so great that you found my blog. I've thought about you many times through the years, and now suddenly here you are!

Have you finished this yet? ARe you just so in love with this series! I love love love it (and I usually hate this kind of novel.) Good to see that you are doing so well and that you have such a sweet little family. I enjoyed your anniversary post, too. Good to "see" you, too. :)
