Well, all of you who voted for Obama- are you still happy with your choice? Have you liked the decisions he has made so far? I was going to try and have hope that he would make some smart decisions (kind of) but so far I am well, pretty disgusted. I think I can probably come up with a better budget than that. So many things seriously worry me about it and where he is going to send this economy in one fell swoop. I'm sorry if I'm offending those of you who like the guy- that's fine if you want to like the man, but are you really happy with where this is going?

Oooh, good question. Yes, I'm still happy with my choice, especially given the alternative. I really, REALLY like our entire first family. Do I agree with everything he does? No. And I knew I wouldn't -- even back during the campaign. However, I do appreciate the transparency, the technological approach, the intelligence with which he's approaching this task. I definitely appreciate his approach to gaining worldwide respect again since I think THAT, more than offensive, violent means, will keep us safe. I think he's inherited a BIG, FAT MESS and no matter who was in that position, it'd be a delicate house of cards to manage. I don't like bail outs and I think we'll pay for that in the future and not in a good way. I don't like how things are going with health care, but I think that would've been true with any of the candidates since they all approach it with the same stupid solution--universal access. We HAVE universal access. We need costs lowered and getting more insurance isn't going to fix that. It'll only make it worse. But NONE of the candidates has looked at it that way (oh, how I'd like to have a one-on-one with them). So, while I don't agree with everything he's doing, I still believe in him and feel better with him at the helm than any of the others that ran for his position. I don't think he's perfect or anything extreme, but I do believe in him. I really think the worst thing is he's inherited a big, ugly mess.
I didnt vote for him but a lot of people I know who did are shutting up real quick now. Especially ones who are going to get taxed out the bottom now. I know friends are getting really irate about the new things he wants to tax.
I know my own brother who tried to talk me into voting for him is now backpedaling and is feeling extremely put out with him...
I do agree anyone who went in to office had a mess to clean up but this mess wasnt just a republican mess as most people keep saying. A lot of this mess started with Clinton and now we have another president who is anti military and all I can say is I am glad we retire soon so that we cannot be screwed over by another one.
Huh. I haven't heard much of any back peddling on Obama from supporters. Anyone knows he's inherited a mess. Even the disgusting spending inherent in the stimulus package--it is far more intricate than most of us can even profess to understand. There were some issues inherent in the bill that would've completely shut down our government had the bill not been signed. THAT would've been a much bigger mess (and an enormous security threat and a massive threat to our economy) than at least trying to do something moving forward. This article on cnn.com suggests Obama support is still strong.
Excellent question. I too tried to be hopeful, but I am not. I feel he is making HUGE mistakes that will cost this country big time.
I agree that we didn't have much of a choice this past election. I do think that we are headed to hell in a hand basket a lot faster with Obama at the helm.
I am impressed with his wife and daughters, just not him.
