Last night I spoke with a reporter from ADN about Beany and he already ran the story. I think he did a fair job and we are all still bewildered and frustrated. He spoke with and quoted myself and Sue. I was a little nervous about actually talking to a reporter on the phone because I didn't want to accidentally say something I wouldn't want quoted. Well, here it is if you'd like to read it. I still check her nlog out of habit just waiting for that next post.

This breaks my heart. I knew at some point the case would go cold, but it still is a hard thing to accept.

I just wish there were more to do. I feel so awful for the girls and for Guy.
I have been quietly following this. My heart breaks for her family.
There are two things that stand out to me- but I am by no means implying that they happened.
1) Under a great deal of stress people have been known to have a psychotic break. It's a mental state that is not based in reality and people do things that are irrational or out of character for them.
2) She worked at an air force base. She was stressed about her job or something at her job. There are clearly many unanswered questions about this aspect. My thoughts about it are not likely to be comforting so I am keeping them to me.
I pray that she is found and soon. Her family needs her or knowledge about her for them to properly grieve the loss that her absence is surely creating.
